This was the last shot of a mostly failed photo shoot.  I had gone outside to get some good shots of the fountain’s face.  Gus, the puppy, was very jealous and had to be in every single shot I took.  Finally, I gave up on attempting to get a shot without having the dog want to play, and started to go inside.  I turned around to tell Gus to stay and this is what I saw.  This shot has been my doorway to doing animal photo shoots.

This was taken with a 35 mm camera. Yes, that involves film, silver based in fact. The assignment was to take a roll of pictures of trees from different perspectives. This was the only good one out of the bunch. I acheived this effect by placing the camera at the base of the tree, aiming up, and pushing the shutter button. It was also a point and shoot camera. I think I will try to recreate this shot with my digital SLR and see what I come up with. Comments are welcome.
